Chariot bicycle trailers are celebrating their 15th year of production. To commemorate this anniversary, Chariot released the Chariot Super Light (CSL-1) Special Edition Bike Trailer. This top-of-the-line single passenger Chariot convertible trailer combines high-tech features with some classic characteristics borrowed from Chariot's first-ever bike trailer, the green 1993 Cabriolet - one of the earliest bicycle trailers on the market to convert to a stroller.

The Chariot CLS-1, like every X-country trailer, is equipped with Chariot's convenient VersaWing technology - a push button attachment system for CTS conversion kits that allows you to switch from a bike trailer to a stroller, jogger, hiking trailer, or cross-country skiing trailer with just a few clicks and some tool-free adjustments. Click 'n store brackets allow you to bring certain conversion components along for quick changes, and an ergonomic and adjustable HeightRight handlebar for easy pushing. 

Weighing just 18.5 lbs and equipped with 20" racing wheels, plus a wireless speedometer, the high-tech CSL-1 is lighter than most jogging strollers and provides peak performance over any type of terrain. It's PU coated fabric has a water repellent finish. The wheels are removable with the push of a button, and the entire trailer folds up quickly for with Chariot's patented ezFold for easy storage once you've had enough exercise for the day.   

The CSL-1 is wrapped in glow-in-the-dark Energlo fabrics for excellent nighttime visibility, allowing you to use your Chariot bike trailer even after the sun has set. In addition, there's a rear pocket for your wallet, keys, or phone.

Comfort features

The single passenger CSL-1 features a widened cockpit, a padded seat back, and a padded seat bottom that is removable and machine washable. The 5-point shoulder harness is also padded, and the entire cockpit thoroughly ventilated for optimum airflow. An included 2-in-1 weather cover rolls down is the weather gets rough. The integrated helmet space allows your child to wear a safety helmet in the cockpit without getting a kinked neck.
