DoggyRide dog trailers began in the Pacific Northwest - when the future company owner realized that his dog Shade was always uncomfortable while sitting in a converted child trailer. He decided that a covered trailer with a flat bottom and a lowered center of gravity would make their daily rides to the off-leash dog park a much more pleasant experience for Shade.
The DoggyRide Original pet trailer was created in 2003, followed by the very first convertible dog trailer / stroller in 2004.
