Chariot Cheetah 2

We've had the Chariot Cheetah for about a month now and are very happy with it. We use it cycling & walking with our 2 1/2 year old boy, who loves it (we bought the 2-child version in anticipation of another passenger coming along!)
The trailer is easy to cycle with. From a weight perspective, I'm glad we got what seems to be quite a light trailer (I didn't actually compare weights when I was looking around). Although it's obviously heavier than a child seat, it is very stable and maneuverable. My legs feel stronger already!
In researching trailers, I noticed some people thought their kids enjoyed a child seat more because they had a better view. Our boy really likes the trailer and can see around easily, even though he?s lower to the ground. When he used to be on the bike seat, a fair bit of his view was obscured by my backpack! No backpack needed now because the trailer?s 2 rear pockets are big enough for lunches, spare clothes, etc. (About 2 daypacks? worth.)
We should have bought 2 attachment brackets immediately to fit out both our bikes. After swapping the bracket between bikes for the first week (pretty easy to do), we went out & bought a second one to save the mucking around.
As a pusher, it probably feels easier to push than our current (1-kid) 3-wheel 'dedicated' pusher. I happened to use a friend's trailer/pusher today that has a single wheel at the front, rather than the Chariot's 2 swivelling ones, and the single wheel version was certainly clunkier. In hindsight, if we?d had the funds I would have bought a Chariot as soon as our child was born, rather than getting a pusher then and upgrading to a Chariot now.
Attention to detail and finish on the Chariot seems very good and it seems very comfortable for the occupants, even though it's the baseline model. Suspension, like on the Cougar and CX, would be nice but doesn't seem mandatory on roads or paths. The width is pretty good for a 2-child trailer?not stupidly wide and with only 1 child, there's lots of room for spare gear or shopping. It will be pretty cosy with 2 children in it, though.
My only gripe is that the Cheetah now has the Versawing 2.0 (where the front wheels, hitch arm, etc attach), which take the click-on (rather than screw-on) pusher wheels like the Cougar & CX. However, bicycletrailers.com supplied the old screw-on wheels. They still work fine, and probably take about 30 seconds longer to attach than the click-ons, but it would have been nice to have the updated wheels, which the Chariot website seems to show come with the Cheetah now. Otherwise, the service from bt.com was great.

Its great for a toddler and baby witht the baby insert sling...no other stroller had what I needed for my 3 month old and 17 month old. It keeps them warm and cozy and my 17month old loves the ride and my baby instantly falls asleep. Love have you can add all the options you need. They have a great resale value and a lifetime warranty
