We absolutely love this trailer. Our dog is about 50 lbs and has plenty of room in this trailer. The trailer is well made and very sturdy. It makes our bike rides enjoyable and fun.

Oh my, what a thrill! We love it! It's like Christmas in July! We are two little Shih Tzus who feel like "king" and "queen", as we ride around the neighborhood in our new Doggy Trailer. All the dogs bark with envy and all the humans are thrilled knowing there are pets inside! This, or one of the other DoggyRide sizes is the best trailer you can get, especially for the money. The Croozer is definitely a knock off version of this trailer, but the DoggyRide is way better. It has a roof opening which the Croozer doesn't have. I use the original size even though I have a 5lb size, because we sometimes put a few extra items for him in there (toys, food, etc.) It is easy to assembly, is very stable, and you can hardly feel it behind you. Plus, you can get lots of accessories for it like a rain cover, or a stroller option. The best!

We've had the Original Doggyride for 3 years now. On both pavement and trail it performs perfectly. We carry two terriers and they have plenty of room. Even on real rough terrain the dogs barely get bounced around, but I do let a little air from the tires to soften the tires and cushion the rough offroad ride. Most amazingly, I can't tell a difference (even going up hill) that I am pulling anything! On pavement I have tried turning sharp and fast to sway the dogs, and I can't. I even fell over one day, and the carrier stayed upright on it's 2 wheels, so the connection to the bike is strong, but also flexible. Glad you can buy a cushion pad to fit now. We made one before they were available. Other than some sea salt air and sun fading it, it's as solid as the day I put it together. Collapses in seconds for storage or vehicle travel. Dogs love it, passer by's always smile. Best on the market! Now if Doggyride would just make one to where the dog pedals, and I ride in the back.......

I love my doggie ride. So does my pup. I don't own a car so it is what I use to get her to the trail head. I even found a way to strap my XC skis on top. Not only do I use it for my dog but, i use it for everything. For example I use it to take the recycling and for grocery shopping. The uses are endless!

My dog loves to run,alongside my bike, but sometimes gets tired. I can just throw her in the DoggyRide and keep going. I just wish it had a support beam along the front. When she gets in, she likes to stand on her haunches through the top vent and rest on the "roof". I can see that wearing down the material or pulling on the zippers.
