Reviews for DoggyRide Mini dog Trailer
love this trailer

I bought this trailer about 2 months ago. My two little 6 lb dogs fit in perfectly. My dogs like the zipper flap open so I would suggest to buy the short tether and a harness. My dogs enjoy the ride and get to go with us when we have a family bike ride. Everyone that sees it says they want one. As in other reviews, you can hardly feel the trailer behind you. Sometimes I look back just to make sure it's still there. Really nicely made. I love it.

Perfect transportation

My mini trailer arrived last week and was simple to put together. I found that putting the brake on before adding the wheel made it easier to install the brake. My 23 lb. Cocker Spaniel fits in perfectly, but there is no room for a second dog. We go places dogs are not allowed, like down to the Marina, to enjoy nature, the fresh salt air and people strolling along the dock, and to the Mall. I highly recommend this piece of equipment; it is very well made, sturdy and solid. I use the stroller kit and everyone who passes us comments on how cute it is, especially when Guinness pops her head out of the top! I also recommend using the leash set when the dog is inside the trailer. We love it and want to give it 10 stars!!!! BUY IT, IT IS A QUALITY PRODUCT!!!!

Mini Ride

I bought this for my mini aussie. she weighs 25 lbs. It's a great and safe way to get her over to the mountain bike trails. I lock up the trailer at the trail head and she is free to run! If you do take it on bumpy trails it can be tippy so go a little slower. The back pocket fits water, snacks and a lock. Also I put slime in the tires so we don't have to worry about flats.

mini doggy ride

I love the mini doggy ride. My 20 lb poodle fits perfect and he loves his ears blowing in the wind. I would recommend buying the pad because it is a quiet hard on the bottom. I had only one issue, when my mini arrived, the holes on the quick relaese wheel didn't match up to the pin. My boyfriend made ajustments, so that the hole and the pin are permanantly in place. We will be riding to the beach in fort lauderdale and I feel my doggie is totally safe. Not to mention it is cutest thing on the road.

The hit of the neighborhood
Reviewer: Anonymous , Brandon, Mississippi

I bought this last year and had asked the manufacturer directly to verify that my two miniature schnauzers (22 lbs each) would both fit in the Mini. They said yes, but they are packed in so usually I take them one at a time. I wish I would have gotten the larger one for that reason but we are enjoying it all the same.

Excellent Product!

It arrived practically assembled-thank goodness because I can't put anything together. My dog immediately jumped into the Doggyride while I was putting it together! Somehow he knew it was his new toy. If your dog is crate trained, then I believe it would be an easy transition to place your dog into the trailer. Even if your dog is not crate trained, it is very comfortable and it has plenty of "windows"for your dog. The material is sturdy and safe. You can drop your bike onto the ground and the trailer won't even tip over. My mini poodle fits perfectly in it but I wouldn't add another dog in there. I think it would be way too small. I recommend getting the doggy mat unless your dog likes lying on the ground. The inside bottom of the trailer is pretty hard. For safety reason, we bought the leash, which we attached it to his harness. Lastly, the customer service was really good. The only thing I would warned you about is that the mini DoggyRide should only fit one small dog UNLESS you have two extra small dogs. I prefer my dog to have enough room to lie down comfortably. One more thing, it is true what the other readers wrote. When you ride your bike, you don't feel like your pulling anything. It is not extra weight. Also, it very quite. Best of luck!

We purchased this September last year and have been using it at least twice a week since. We and our pug Misty LOVE it. The product is well built and with the cute design it makes a terrific product. Thanks to Doggyride we now can take her with us on our bike rides.

Doggy Fun Ride
Reviewer: E Moulin , Manning, SC

Your Mini DoggyRide was way more then we expected. It was easy to assemble and take apart. Our little Min Pin was a little anxious at first but settled right down and enjoyed the ride. I thought the price was right for the product. I would recommend this product to all. Thank you for providing a good product. My only complaint is that it should have been made in the USA. It would have been 5 Stars.

Well Built, worth the price
Reviewer: jason , los angeles, ca

I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of trailers before I bought this one, and I am very glad I chose it. I even considered some of the cheaper child trailers - not a good idea for trying to get your dog in there, they all have soft bottoms. The Doggyride is CLEARLY well built. Well thought out, good tires, decent stitching, zipper quality is ok, not great. But it works great, and folds easily. Worth spending the extra few bucks for this.

Poppy's got a brand new ride!
Reviewer: Lori K. , Cambridge, MN
Date: August 08, 2008
Our 3-year Westie, "Poppy" is an avid walker, loves to ride in the car and go wherever we go. Since she joined our family 3 years ago I virtually gave up bike riding in lieu of taking Poppy for walks. When I discovered the Doggie Ride I thought it would be great being able to bike with our dog. However when we are biking she barks incessently! Almost as if she is frightened. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm hoping that she will become acclimated and will learn to enjoy the ride!

Doggyride Mini
Reviewer: Nestor & Lori Chernyha , Winsted, CT
Date: February 09, 2008
We purchased the Doggyride Mini, and when it arrived, we were immediately impressed with the quality. It is very well put together with fine materials and final assembly was a snap. It pulls behind the bike effortlessly; you don't even know it's there. Interior looks very comfortable, especially with the optional pad that fits inside - again, nice material and well made. Our Shitzu is going to ride in style! Thanks for a great product.

Lovin' it!
Reviewer: Jolynn , Commack, NY

Wow, the mini dog trailer is terrific. Better than I even imagined. It fits my two pugs perfectly. They love cruising along with my husband and I on our leisure rides. I had no problem hooking it up and it attaches easily to the bike before outings. I bought the green color and couldn't be happier with it. It's adorable. I honestly am in love with my new bike trailer and so are my pugs. I highly recommend it.

Doggyride trailer

I just love my mini doggyride trailer. It was easy to assemble an attach to my bike. Shipping was timely and it arrived in perfect condition. When we hit the bike trails lots of heads turned when folks figured out it's not a kid trailer. My dog loves it!

This is so fun!

We have a Pomeranian and while she loves to hike and walk, we felt that she would be safer in a bike trailer when we ride. She loves it. At first she wasn't so sure but once she got over the first few minutes she was in heaven. We are looking forward to many more outings on the bikes with her in tow. People make comments about how cool it is to take her like this. The size is perfect!

Mini dog trailer

We love this trailer. We used one made for children on our previous dog and it was too large and wide. This trailer is perfect for bicycle trails. As a stroller it works great although I would prefer the handle to be a little taller.
I have recommended this to many others.

Doggy Ride Mini Dog Trailer
Reviewer: Jeanne , IL
Date: October 11, 2007
My friend Charlene ordered me the Doggyride mini dog trailer and I sure love it. My little Kayto just has to be everywhere I go. It makes him happy to be able to add bike riding to the list. However, Doggy Ride needs to make it easier to attach to quick release tires. I had to go out and purchase screws and bolts to be able to make the trailer work on my bike.

It is a very well thought out design. The company seems to care(via emails, when I asked about things) It doesn't feel like I am hauling anything, it is very light. I took away one star only because I wish it cost about 50 dollars less. I recommended this product to a friend and now she has ordered one as well. The dogs love getting out on the bike trail with me!
