Great versatility, expensive

We've been running with our son inside of the CX1 with an infant sling since he was 4mo and riding since 7mo. He spends an hour or two every day in it and he loves it! CX1 with a jogging kit runs very smooth and easy. We prefered it to having a separate babyjogger and bike trailer for two reasons: great weather cover for rain and snow and not having enough place for both. CX1 unzip sides provide much better ventilation in hot weather than Cougar. A few complaints:
1. The jogging kit really MUST have a fender for the front wheel: otherwise you canNOT run with the plastic lid open, the dust/dirt gets into baby's eyes and face.
2. The 2006 drum brakes work OK, but need a better parking latch - this one wears off and doesn't hold well.
3. Weber bike kit (available/resold by Chariot in Germany, much better than the original bike kit) is not compatible with 2006 CX1 plastic recepticle.
But despite that - can't wait to try the ski kit this winter :).

Our 15 month old LOVES riding in his CX..he's comfortable and can bring lots of toys along with him. Being happy in it allows my husband and I to be out for longer periods of time. I can't say enough good things about it...the ride is so smooth given the suspension.. it's wonderful for our baby. There are only two drawbacks: while it does go together easily, it's still cumbersome and it's easier to have two to put the wheels on, etc. The only other drawback is it's expensive. We love it though and use it every single day, even when it rains sometimes. Weather can't stop you with the zip on covers so no excuses!
